Summer isn’t over yet! Its a cloudy end to August, but September is sure to bring more hot and sunny days – perfect to enjoy this refreshing new vintage of Sangiovese!
One of our most beloved wines has always been Sangiovese. Maybe its because the family is Italian, maybe its because we’ve been making it since our second vintage in 1999! Or maybe its just because they are always so dang good. Last year’s vintage was always going to be a tough act to follow, being one of the best Sangiovese we’ve ever made. This new release of the 2024 is spectacular in its own right, delicious with a fresh shimmering expression of fruit and slightly softer on the tip of the tongue. That is not so say that it is a ‘light’ wine. The new vintage is still full in body with a sturdy finish, combined with singularly fruit forward qualities that make it the perfect “yes” wine. Do you have a wine for outside afternoon antipasti? Yes! Do you have a long day, takeout, feet up, full red? Yes! How about a special anniversary, home chef, plated dinner bottle? Yes! This Sangiovese will deliver across all your moments and is the ideal pairing for any occasion.
