Grown here in Colorado in the Grand Valley of Palisade, it is light and fresh, jumping with acidity and edgy textures, making it crisp and bright. Classic to the wine, you will see some interesting grassy flavors of dried hay alongside green pineapple, tart stone fruit, and a mineral finish. Easy drinking and great with lighter foods, we are so happy to share this unique varietal with you again!

- A new vineyard for Zinfandel, we have been working with the Showalter plot since 2023. This vintage smells very much like ripe grapes! We know, a wine that smells like grapes—groundbreaking! In all seriousness, this is a robust Zin and a remarkable expression of complexity and appealing fruit flavors. Palate is spiced, herbal and reminiscent of grape must with peppercorn spice on the nose and finish. This is a young and fruit driven Zinfandel fit for the long haul—this wine will age magnificently!

- The palate is juicy and bright with pomegranate and flavors of red plum. You're wafted into the glass with aromas of seasoned compote, stewed red fruits and warm spices like anise and nutmeg. 2024 Primitivo | American

- Fully dry, this 2024 vintage could be our best yet. There is no shortness of plump ripe fruit flavors in our new Primitivo. Boasting a stout 15.6% alc., the wine is incredibly easy drinking while maintaining lots of body and youthful structure on the finish. The fruit is black plum, grape jelly, and black currant preserves across the tongue as it moves to fill the edges of your palate with velvety tannin. We of course ferment all Primitivo/Zinfandel whole-cluster, giving the wine protection during fermentation, and complex savory spices over time as it ages and softens in the bottle. 2024 Barbera | American

- Our Barbera are very dark in regard to the fruit flavors. This vintage is deep with plum, blackberry and boysenberry. Being such a ripe vintage, this 2024 is very fruit forward, sometimes leaning to even subtly dried fruit, but also picks up interesting aromas of cream and thyme alongside Italian plum. Its texture is balanced, showing medium acidity and an easy going finish. This Barbera is sure to be a favorite in red wine lovers' glasses this month, and well into the Summer.

- Carignan is finally back! Transitioning away from the fresh and juicy 2022 vintage, the 2024 is a more bold and dense expression. Ripe fruit flavors of black currant and grape-must sweeten the palate, complimented by herbal flavors of dried jasmine, baking spice and black tea. The complexity and nuance of his Carignan are a result of the 70+ year old vines grown from Cooper Vineyards in Amador, California. - If you know of Hovde, then you’ve been enjoying Balistreri wines since at least 2007! If not, let us introduce you to one of our most fond growers of Cabernet. After many years without, we have once again sourced grapes from this special Colorado Vineyard, and they have once again overdelivered. The 2024 vintage is uniquely special, in that this vineyard ripened slowly, and for much longer than normal. Building immense amounts of complexity and ripening beyond anticipated, the vines maintained balance and held acidity in the grape. After being hand picked in the middle of October, the grapes fermented slowly for an entire month, generating depth, extraction, and intensity across its characteristics.
