    • Orange style Chardonnay? You mean, Orange style Chardonnay! Those that know it miss it, those that haven t had it...get ready. This is not your normal Chardonnay! Honey, lemon, roasted tropical fruit on the nose make for an unexpected start, giving familiarity with a hint of subtle sweet white oak. Though this is by no means an oaky Chardonnay, having gone in very old barrels! This allows for transparency in it s fruit expressions, and in this case opens you to pineapple, baked apple and hay. Tasty and unique, it is very rare to see skin contact Chardonnay what a treat!

    • Primitivo - Whoa, tropical fruit! Guava nectar and strawberry swirl from the glass. The palate is giving and offers up bright flavors of peach, nectarine, guava and grapefruit pith. There is certainly dark fruit throughout, but sheltered in a playful tropical perfume. If you’re not familiar with Primitivo, it is the Adriatic equivalent to Zinfandel.

    • The traditional Spanish varietal continues to thrive here in Colorado! Mellow and round aromas of strawberry candy contrast savory loin, chutney, and scone batter as a delightful nuance from the oak. An incredibly diverse wine that remains approachable and medium body on the palate a no brainer for any occasion! Be sure to let this wine open up as the finish gets progressively smoother.

    • Petite Sirah -  When we think of Winemaker John Balistreri there are a few specific varietals that come to mind, Petite Sirah  being one of them. He has always loved this grape for its intensity, lush mouthfeel, and ability to age. This 2020 Petite is no exception. John's style focuses on showcasing the fruit that the varietal has to offer, so in this 100% Petite Sirah you wont see oak or other influences. It is delicious intense plum up front and big tannin on the finish. Awesome to drink young but this wine has what it takes for the long haul. Cheers!

    • A vineyard we have worked with for several years and recently renamed Lafata, it s fruit bears a dark Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose shows hints of delicious oak with coconut husk, cream, and of course black cherry. Palate explodes with velvet and cocoa, leaving behind the red fruit and swapping for ripe blackberries. A clean expression that is not overdone with oak (6 year old barrels) that keeps with our tradition in making a ripe and powerful Balistreri Cab. Enjoy!

Syrah that s dark and robust, fruit forward, complex and above all else spicy with that classic peppercorn sensation! What more can be said for something we have all grown to love? Until you come across a vintage such as this. Do not sleep on this Syrah! The spice is there, subtle and layered beneath some of the fullest, round, plump fruit we ve seen from the HM vineyard. Elegant cherry, plum, and cream unfold as you venture past each swirl and sip.

Classic nose, the aromas are intense fruit, like spiced raspberry and woodland strawberry, edged with green bell pepper and olive. Sips are evolving while some give earthy, tomato leaf, oak shaving sensations, another taste may offer deep forest fruit and rich cherry flavors. A dynamic wine to say the least! You ll find focus in this Franc s structure and tannin showing quality to age, while the carmine color, clarity of flavors, and freshness desperately urge and inch it s cork out. A youthful Cabernet Franc begging to find a glass, and ready to impress.
