    • This Carignan was aged in neutral American oak barrels. Fresh out of the bottle it shows tart plum and raspberry on the nose. As it opens up though the fruit moves more towards a dried or candied fruit with a touch of baking spice. The mouthfeel is very juicy and bursting with cranberry and red flavors. It has a good tannin structure that balances the fruit and riper qualities of the wine beautifully. We personally enjoy these riper styles of wine when they are younger (between 1 and 5 years of age) as they really highlight the bursting fruit flavors and lovely smooth tannin structure.

    • This special Pinot Noir was grown in the West Elks AVA of Colorado. It was farmed with biodynamic principles, without the use of chemical sprays, instead preferring holistic and natural approaches in the vineyard. As always, we produced the wine without chemicals or sulfites, fermenting the fruit whole cluster on it's own wild yeasts. Coming from a cooler climate than the rest of our wines, this beautiful Pinot Noir has tremendous energy and lift. The acidity is backed by sturdy tannins on an otherwise light bodied wine. Only two barrels of this special Pinot Noir were made.

    • This has everything you could want from Zinfandel! Full bodied and juicy, but because it is made naturally, also has tremendous complexity. There's a smokey, peppery quality that adds intrigue to the dark red fruit character. This is one of last remaining Zinfandel vineyards in Colorado and is grown by Dallas Black in Palisade.
