Regardless, the wine was ripe and lush, though we knew one day it would bring about that black peppercorn, dynamic spice. A decade later, this Syrah is as spicy as ever! With a lot of the tannin mellowed and aged out, the wine is more delicate in some ways, and more intense in others!
