2025 Sangiovese | American

- The 2025 vintage is similar to the 2023 - robust, rustic, and a creamy fruit bomb on the palate. The taste is delicious and textured. Smooth and round on the approach, fruit flavors are predominantly black pie cherries. Pomegranate curls on the back of your tongue as this wine finishes with floral violet and rose flavors, before concluding with smooth but bold tannin. The range of applications for our new Sangiovese is endless, and you'll be finding excuses to crack a bottle all year long.

2024 Primitivo | American

- Fully dry, this 2024 vintage could be our best yet. There is no shortness of plump ripe fruit flavors in our new Primitivo. Boasting a stout 15.6% alc., the wine is incredibly easy drinking while maintaining lots of body and youthful structure on the finish. The fruit is black plum, grape jelly, and black currant preserves across the tongue as it moves to fill the edges of your palate with velvety tannin. We of course ferment all Primitivo/Zinfandel whole-cluster, giving the wine protection during fermentation, and complex savory spices over time as it ages and softens in the bottle. We are so proud of this delicious, jammy new vintage of Primitivo

2024 Barbera | American

- Our Barbera are very dark in regard to the fruit flavors. This vintage is deep with plum, blackberry and boysenberry. Being such a ripe vintage, this 2024 is very fruit forward, sometimes leaning to even subtly dried fruit, but also picks up interesting aromas of cream and thyme alongside Italian plum. Its texture is balanced, showing medium acidity and an easy going finish. This Barbera is sure to be a favorite in red wine lovers' glasses this month, and well into the Summer.

2023 Syrah | American

- This is what Syrah is all about. The wine is multifaceted, complex, and dynamic as it showcases aromas across a breath of flavors. Swirl and get your nose in the glass to see notes of olive tapenade, ripe crushed cranberry, and dried herbs like thyme and sage. The palate is contrasting in acidity and liveliness up front, concluding with a balanced dry finish. Flavors are cherry tobacco, smashed raspberry, and earthy baking spices. A wonderful and complex vintage of Syrah, fit for any occasion.

2023 Syrah | Whitewater Hill

Raspberry is forward on the palate, shining across your tongue with fresh acidity and energy. This is a fantastic vintage of Balistreri Syrah that is perfect to enjoy young with anything off the grill, or set aside and enjoy over the next 10-12 years.

2024 Nero d’Avola | American

- Aromas are dark plum and floral. Smells intensely of violets, a dash of espresso powder, and subtly creamy, giving it a rich approach. The palate is delicious and tasty with flavors of sweet spiced candied plum. Its medium body and dry finish make this wine easily approachable and inviting. Without a doubt our best and most proud vintage of Nero d’Avola yet!

2024 Cabernet Franc | Avant

- Aromas are black - a wall of dark fruit rises from the glass. Mature blackberry and ruby plum live in this abyss, brightened falsely by subtle flashes of sweet olive brine; classic to more elegant Francs. But this vintage is about strength and robust flavors. Your tongue meets these deep flavors of black drupes with a mouthwatering tannin, assuaged only with another sip or that complementing piece of charred meat.

2023 Petit Verdot | Colorado Vineyard Specialties

- Aromas are extravagant, boasting a medley of black currant, black plum, violets, and crème de cacao. The palate begins lush with blackberry syrup, but transitions quickly to smooth and chewy tannins leaving a lingering flavor of dark fruit and floral pungency - a reminder this wine was fermented whole cluster with it's stems. Petit Verdot on their own make for wines of longevity. They are bold and brooding in their youth, and while that has its appeal, they can become some of our most complex and intriguing wines if you can allow patience to reward you. Or don't! 2024 Petite Sirah | Carlson

- Don't forget, is Petite Sirah is not Syrah! It is its own distinct varietal that shares no similarity in expression to the Syrah grape. They are known for incredibly dark and inky colors as well as powerful rich flavors and heavier body. Our new 2024 vintage reflects this varietal perfectly, and is a great example of Petite Sirah grown here in the warm dry climate of Colorado. The nose is complex and spiced with hints of cumin, baked spiced plums, tobacco, and sweet blackberries. It is deep and dark throughout, as you see these black fruits translate to the palate and seduce the senses with a creamy smooth texture.
