It has been 8 years since we last released this French varietal, Roussanne! Grown here in Colorado in the Grand Valley of Palisade, it is light and fresh, jumping  with acidity and edgy textures, making it crisp and bright. Classic to the wine, you will see some interesting grassy flavors of dried hay alongside green pineapple, tart stone fruit, and a mineral finish. Easy drinking and great with lighter foods, we are so happy to share this unique varietal with you again!

13 years old, this Roussanne has aged into a robust and dense expression of our Balistreri Orange Wines. Aroma is apricot jam, rustic fruit, dried dandelion, and roasted marshmallow. Palate is toasted sugar crust, preserved stone fruit, rooibos tea, tannic and full. With a long finish and rich in body and texture, this aged Orange Wine is a reflection of the Fall season and is great paired alongside hearty foods. Be sure to decant this wine and let it breathe.

A Balistreri first—Colorado grown Mourvèdre! This fresh and juicy red is reminiscent of Cru Beaujolais, which is perfect for the start of Thanksgiving dinner! Aromas are floral, spice, bright cherry and light across the tongue. The freshness and balanced acidity is what makes this wine so approachable and fun to enjoy, and why it leaves your glass so fast!

A new vineyard for Zinfandel, we have been working with the Showalter plot since 2023. This vintage smells very much like ripe grapes! We know, a wine that smells like grapes—groundbreaking! In all seriousness, this is a robust Zin and a remarkable expression of complexity and appealing fruit flavors. Palate is spiced, herbal and reminiscent of grape must with peppercorn spice on the nose and finish.  This is a young and fruit driven Zinfandel fit for the long haul—this wine will age magnificently!

Our Lovies Vineyard wines are some of our most cherished Merlots and Cabernets. This 2017 vintage no exception. Aromas of cherry cinnamon syrup, blackberry bubblegum, and candied sage are complex and synchronized. Palate is bright at first with tart dried berries, then builds body and transitions into a robust and heavy finish. Tannin is immense, cherry liquor across the outside of your palate and lingers for many minutes after. This wine is perfect with heavier foods and is a wonderful bottle to share this Thanksgiving!

One of our best Petite Sirah from one of its best vintages. Aromas of Cola and cherry set the stage for cocoa powder and sweet cranberry flavors. Take your time and be sure to continue swirling the wine, allowing for it to open up and experience the full depth and range it has to offer. This fantastic vintage finishes smooth but with retained tannin and structure! The wine is drinking in a really great place right now and we love sharing it every chance we get! Be sure to decant and enjoy its complex flavors at least an hour after opened. Cheers!
