The Pesci Vineyard Cabernet remains a powerful and bold wine, almost a decade later! Candied bing cherry on the nose, this ripe vintage flashes even more complex aromas of cherry cordial, lime & mint leaf. Palate is  dense black cherry pulp, red licorice, hints of sweet red bell pepper. Tannin is immense, perfect for bold foods now but will continue to age and soften for many years to come.

Grown right here, many years ago at our old Denver Vineyard! Classically earthy, this wine smells of tomato leaf, spiced fruit roll, leathery dried berries. This Cab is savory across the tongue but elegant with flavors of leather, cherry skin, dried cranberry tea and tapenade. Light in body and slick across the tongue, this is an exciting and special wine, never to be made again. We are so happy to share this with you this December!

To have a wine over two decades old that maintains this amount of delicious fruit flavor, body, and life is a rare and exciting thing. Exotic red fruit compote and cocoa swirl out of the glass, reminiscent of chocolate covered raspberry gummies. Palate is robust and surprisingly full considering  its age. It is heavy in body with flavors of  cocoa powder, stewed cherry, dark fruit skin tannin and finishes dense and powerful. An exceptional and award winning vintage fit for any special occasion!
