The Roukema Vineyard is a special and small plot of Merlot overlooking the Colorado River. More ripe and powerful, the 2024 vintage boast darker cherry flavors that mingle with subtle earthy tones. You’ll see aromas of dark fruit syrup and herbed cherry reduction. This wine is by no means sweet! On the palate you’ll see smoked black cherry that is dense and chewy on the tongue. Finishing smooth, the corners and edges of this wine are round and delicious, maintaining structure and full body. A needed expression of Merlot, great with heavier dishes and fatty meats.
