Our Barbera are very dark in regard to the fruit flavors. This vintage is deep with plum, blackberry and boysenberry. Being such a ripe vintage, this 2024 is very fruit forward, sometimes leaning to even subtly dried fruit, but also picks up interesting aromas of cream and thyme alongside Italian plum. Its texture is balanced, showing medium acidity and an easy going finish. This Barbera is sure to be a favorite in red wine lovers’ glasses this month, and well into the Summer.
