We are so happy to showcase this classic expression of such a classic grape. Our 2023 vintage from the Tom Maw Vineyard is aged in very old neutral oak barrels. This gives the wine room to express its fruit and riper vintage, without the sweetness of oak or heavy oak tannin. However, you will definitely see grape skin tannin from extraction in its long fermentation—the finish is robust, dense and structured. This Cabernet is a triumph to those who love heavier fruit driven wines, and has shoulders to age for many years to come.
