An oaked Cabernet, that is not bitter with cedar and harsh tannin. Aromas of fresh coffee, coconut, subtle cocoa and blueberry lure you in like mocha and oven baked pie. Dark fruit is made lush and softened in its youth from the new oak, then balanced with savory flavors of the varietal and hints of toasted hazelnut. Only 6 months in the barrel to make sure the oak was left in check, it’s a wine of immense pleasure now, but will age many more years to come.
