Hello old faithful. Beautifully balanced, this vintage of Sangiovese is everything you could hope for in such a classic varietal from Balistreri. Bright cherry with hints of dusty earth tickle your nose. The palate is tart cherry, the subtlest hint of cacao powder, then finishes rich and round. This is a wonderful, wonderful vintage.
