Primitivo – Whoa, tropical fruit! Guava nectar and strawberry swirl from the glass. The palate is giving and offers up bright flavors of peach, nectarine, guava and grapefruit pith. There is certainly dark fruit throughout, but sheltered in a playful tropical perfume. If you’re not familiar with Primitivo, it is the Adriatic equivalent to Zinfandel.
