2019 Cabernet Sauvignon | Talbott
Grapes sourced from Talbott’s Vineyard on the western slope of Colorado, were picked late in the season, giving ample ripeness and intense fruity characteristics to the wine. Colorado grown Cabernet Sauvignon are usually the last grapes to be picked, which we love! Our style looks to having robust and fruitier wines and the longer hang time for Cab is just what we like.
Aromas are vibrant and tart, with crushed, stewed sour cherry and wild flowers. Similar flavors of Bing cherry jump over your palate and welcome in complex secondary notes of floral vine spice, powdered fruit, nutmeg and cocoa accent spices. This Cabernet is perfect for heavier meals as it refreshes the palate and contrasts with elegance and deliciously forward fruit.
