Dark and sumptuous, this Petit Verdot has beautiful concentration and length. Violets, black cherry and subtle spice round out the aromas with a terrific finish. Several years of age have softened the tannins and youthful intensity this wine once had, delivering instead a wine of more restraint. Still, this is a bold Verdot and would do well with heavy, rich foods and special occasions.
