2017 Colorado Syrah | (Whitewater Hill Vineyard)
$58.00
Planted with a view, this wine is further proof that Colorado is a fantastic region for growing Syrah. This wine hits all the marks with layered aromas of white pepper, game and fresh herbs. On the palate, it’s ripe and lush with black fruit flavors culminating in a spicy, long finish.
Description
Here at Balistreri, it’s no secret that Syrah is one of our favorite grapes (both to make and to drink). We work with several different sites in the Grand Valley that grow Syrah, but surely one of the most unique (and limited) is Whitewater Hill. It’s a rare treat to be able to offer this exclusive Wine Library bottling, as the last vintage it was even produced was way back in 2005!

Mason Balistreri –
One of my favorite Syrah’s that my grandpa has ever made! Ultra spicy and intense like HorseMountain but more elegant. Don’t sleep on this one!
