Lafata Vineyard in Colorado
A vineyard we have worked with for several years, Pesci Vineyard, was purchased by the Lafata Family in 2020. The fruit from this vineyard produces a rich Cabernet Sauvignon that’s always been a favorite. 
 
A Delicious Dark Red
The nose shows hints of delicious oak with coconut husk, cream, and of course black cherry. Palate explodes with velvet, cocoa, and floral violets, leaving behind the red fruit and swapping for ripe blackberries. A clean expression that is not overdone with oak (6 year old barrels) that keeps with our tradition in making a ripe and powerful Balistreri Cab.
 
What to pair with this ’20 Cab
This Cab is released just in time to pair with any spring meal, from grilled meats to grilled mushrooms and veggies.
 
It is officially patio season!
