Cherry Pie Week at Balistreri's
While making our natural Cherry Wines, it’s a summer tradition here at Balistreri’s to reserve some of these cherries to make our famous homemade Cherry Pies. If you haven’t had a chance to taste these pies, don’t miss out! This is Birdie Balistreri’s famous recipe – made entirely from scratch, these Cherry Pies are not to be missed.
Cherry Wine Spritzers
In the summer heat, our Cherry Wine is perfect to add to a mixed drink. You can make delicious cherry wine spritzers that are cool and refreshing for a hot summer day. They are so easy to make and please just about everyone.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 parts Balistreri Cherry Wine
- 1 part choice of bubbles (club soda, sprite, prosecco, cava, etc.)
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour cherry wine over ice in a wine glass. Add a splash or two of fresh lemon juice and swirl (optional). Add your choice of bubbles (for sweeter, use sprite or 7up. For dryer, use club soda or prosecco). Finally, garnish with a slice of lemon or orange on the rim.

Like all of our wines, we make our Cherry Wine completely naturally without any sulfites or other additives.
Whiskey Barrel-Aged Cherry Wine
Some of our Cherry Wine will go to regular wine barrels, while some will go into special reserve, and some into Stranahan Whiskey barrels.

We will be offering tastes of our delicious Cherry Wine in the Tasting Room, and you can also order glasses, bottles, or Cherry Wine Spritzers! If you’re not in Colorado, visit our website to ship these summer treats right to your door. So sorry, but we can’t ship the pies!
