Dear Wine Club , 
As Autumn approaches we have some exciting news and
events to share with you. September marks our 10th Anniversary! We
crushed our first grapes in September 1998 and produced 22 Barrels of
wine our first year. Celebrate with us by stopping in the tasting room
anytime this crush season and catch winemaker John sharing some of his
"old" Library Wines.
BALISTRERI VINEYARDS Est.1998
First, in appreciation for your support and
patronage we invite you to join us this Labor Day Weekend on Saturday,
Sunday, or Monday from noon to 5:00 PM, we will be serving
complimentary Pizza baked fresh in our wood-fired Pizza
Oven.
Based on the cherry and peach crops, this years
crush season may be a week or two later than last year. We may be crushing
well into November. So while the grapes are ripening on the Western Slope,
we will be bottling some great new 2007 wines,
and releasing them at many of our Fall events, including the long
awaited Little Feet Merlots.
( Parents, we'll let you know as soon
as we bottle these delicious Merlots.)

Labor Day Weekend

Join us Labor Day Weekend.
We're warming up the wood-fired pizza oven.
On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from noon to 5pm, we will be serving
complimentary Pizza - baked fresh in our outdoor wood-fired Pizza Oven.
Wine will be available for purchase by the glass, and of course by the
bottle.

Colorado Mountain Wine Fest
Saturday, September 20th
Balistreri Vineyards will be
headed up to the Colorado Mountain Wine Fest in Palisade Colorado. It's the largest Colorado Wine
Festival in the state, with over 40 wineries in attendance. Certainly stop
by the Balistreri Tent!
Then after the Fest join the
Balistreri's at the brand new Wine Country Inn for "Unwind in the Vines"
Wine Dinner.
It's a great opportunity to check out the newest place to stay in Palisade,
and to meet the Tally family, owners of Wine Country Inn. A unique
"buffet station" wine dinner featuring Balistreri wine pairings
at each station, with seating inside the Ballroom and outside on the
poolside patio.

Festival Italiano @ Bel-Mar

the Balistreri Wine Tent at Festival Italiano!
Enjoy wine tasting or wine by the glass while taking in all the
festivities.
Bring the kids for the Balistreri Little Feet Grape Stomping. We will be
stomping 1000 pounds of grapes every two hours for two days!
