Boulder food & wine Festival. This is the first Colorado wine festival
to combine the excitement of Colorado's wine industry with the
established culinary talents of Boulder's fine resturants. Held
in Boulder's Central Park.

Night at Balistreri Vineyards
Under the Stars
Saturday July 26th 2008
 Join us under the stars for a private screening of an
Italian Film classic, the academy award winning film, Il Postino (The
Postman). Winner of 5 Best Foreign Language Film Awards in 1995, the story
of a fisherman on a small Italian island whose life is changed by a chance
encounter with the famous poet, Pablo Neruda.
The life of the fisherman Mario changes dramatically
when the famous Chilean writer Pablo Neruda settles on his little Italian
island. Living in exile because of his political beliefs, Neruda needs a
postman to deliver the huge quantities of mail sent to him by his admirers
and Mario takes the job since he hates fishing anyway. The two become
friends and Neruda helps the shy and clumsy Mario gain courage to approach
Beatrice, the beautiful waitress at the village's inn, by showing him the
beauty and power of poetry.
